Erosion of a neck of a uterus. the Term which designate as actually erosion of a mucosa of a vaginal part of a neck of a uterus, and a congenital ectopia of a cylindrical epithelium of the channel of a neck of a uterus.

Congenital erosion of a neck of a uterus represents shift of a cylindrical epithelium of the channel of a uterus aside a multilayer flat epithelium of a mucosa of a vaginal part of a neck of a uterus. The etiology is not found out. Proceeds asymptomatically. Congenital erosion, as a rule, is exposed to an involution, treatment does not demand.

Pseudo-erosion can be the various form and size, settles down around of external fauces of the channel of a neck of a uterus or mainly on a back or forward labium of a neck of a uterus, has bright red color, is surrounded by a light pink rim. Its surface fine-grained, velvety, is covered mucopurulent separated, is frequent at a careless touch it bleeds.

True erosions usually meet at women in the genesial period, quite often proceed asymptomatically and are taped casually, for example at routine inspection. At pseudo-erosions of a neck of a uterus the contact bleedings arising are sometimes observed, for example at the sexual act.
